Nestled in the Tug Hill Adirondack region is the premier Adirondack International Speedway (AIS) racing facility, located in New Bremen New York. As a national sanctioned race track by the American Speed Association (ASA), The Adirondack Speedway is a prominent player in New York's automobile racing world. Race teams and fans from New York, nearby states and Canada help make AIS a destination.
Focused on first class racing action, fun and excitement, AIS continues to grow and offer ever expanded weekly racing and nationally renowned special racing events. The Adirondack International Speedway is a full scale racing facility with onsite camping. Spectators, drivers, team members and families can all enjoy the show and relax without leaving the clean and well organized grounds. The Tug Hill Region of Lewis County also offer a variety of other lodging options along with a wide range of other activities to complement your stay.
Conceptually started in 1994, with ground clearing started in 1996, AIS was opened for it's first official event in 2001, and since has grown and benefited from a true racing community. The AIS facility presently features a very wide half mile oval track, with several car and truck weekly regional classes, with added special racing events throughout the summer. Future plans are focused on the completion of additional racing track options.
